I've tried, but I can't answer this question;
What blame is mine, how much do I shoulder,
For the tragedy my nation has brought,
For the unmitigated disaster
Of an unnecessary war that's fought
On the basis of lies and deception?
Life continues, most people don't mention,
Do not think about the problem at all,
For there are things to do, people to call,
The future beckons, why be held in thrall
To a past which is beyond redemption?
And yet, as sunrise begins a new day
I realize all people are my companions on the way.
