Night flight
Sky without clouds
Flying among the stars
Watching the earth turning below
Deep pools of dense darkness made from shadows
Out of a cave the sound of wings
Crossing the moon's full face
A cloud of bats --

Thanks. Perhaps I should have saved this for Halloween? Did you know that a group of bats is called a 'cloud'? I had to look it up. It's like 'school of fish', but with bats it's 'cloud of bats'. I think it fits, kind of like a spooky cloud, though, not the nice cottony clouds.
